We implement a pioneering solution among Szczecin terminals
The DB Port Szczecin container terminal together with Polski PCS allow to use the automatic container release process on a permanent basis.
According to the schedule, we are implementing the next stage of the cooperation agreement with the representative of the Polish PCS company, Mr. Andrzej Zelek, and the Management Board of DB Port Szczecin, signed on October 23, 2020, on testing the PCS (Port Community System). We are very pleased to inform you that we are fully ready for the automatic, customs release of containers after the completion of the declaration in the procedure of admission to trading by the AIS/IMPORT system.
The project for the container terminal run by DB Port Szczecin is an element of digitization of port terminals based on the "Program for the development of Polish seaports until 2030" implemented within the cooperation between the National Revenue Administration (KAS) and the Polish PCS company.
We are currently also testing the warehouse module for general cargo and bulk goods.
We are very proud to have become the main partner of this project in the Szczecin port.
