The implementation of the Project allows to achieve the specific objectives set by DB Port Szczecin:
- Modernization of the management system for cargo handling and container flow through the terminal, thus increasing its internal capacity
- Acceleration of internal transport processes at the terminal, including accelerated handling of formal activities necessary to introduce goods to the Polish market (providing cargo for customs, veterinary, phytosanitary inspection, etc.)
- Increasing the storage capacity dedicated to refrigerated containers
- Creating conditions to launch permanent intermodal railway connections (first to Kąty Wrocławskie and Kalisz/Ociąża)
- General improvement of the quality of the reloading services provided and the terminal maintaining its competitive position
